THEFT OF ATV TRAILER (DUBREUILVILLE, ON) On Wednesday November 3rd, 2011 Superior East OPP Wawa Detachment was advised that a theft of an ATV trailer had occurred just off of Highway 519 near Dubreuilville.

(DUBREUILVILLE, ON) On Wednesday November 3rd, 2011 Superior East OPP Wawa Detachment was advised that a theft of an ATV trailer had occurred just off of Highway 519 near Dubreuilville. The complainant advised that the trailer had been stolen sometime between October 30th and November 2nd. The trailer is described as 4 feet by 6 feet, brown in colour with 4 Argo style tires. Witnesses report observing the trailer being used by two unknown males on a green coloured ATV.

MARIHUANA FOUND IN PACKAGE AT GREYHOUND TERMINAL

(WAWA, ON) On Friday November 4th, 2011 at 10:00 am Superior East OPP Wawa Detachment attended the Greyhound Bus Terminal in Wawa in regards to a suspicious package that had arrived.

Investigation by OPP officers located a quantity of Cannabis Marihuana weighing over 100 grams. As a result 22 year-old Thomas THAYER of Wawa was arrested and charged with Possession of Controlled Substance for the Purpose of Trafficking contrary to The Controlled Drug and Substance Act. He was released on a promise to appear for Criminal Court in Wawa on January 9th, 2012. Estimated value of the Controlled Substance was $2000.

DOMESTIC VIOLENCE INVESTIGATION RESULTS IN CHARGES

(WAWA, ON) On Friday November 4th, 2011 Superior East Ontario Provincial Police Wawa Detachment were called to investigate a disturbance in the Wawa area. As a result a 42-year-old female was arrested and charged with assault contrary to the Criminal Code. The accused was later released with a court date on January 9th, 2012.

As with all domestic related incidents, the OPP does not release the name of the charged person to protect the privacy of those involved.

THEFT OF BOAT AND TRAILER

(WAWA, ON) On Sunday November 6th, 2011 at 5:30 pm Superior East Ontario Provincial Police Wawa Detachment were advised of a theft of a boat and trailer from a cottage on Twin Lakes off of Highway 101 in Esquega Township. The complainant advised that the items were stolen sometime between November 2nd and November 6th.

The boat is described as a 12 foot aluminium and is unpainted. Attached is a 1997 15hp Johnson boat motor that is white in colour. The trailer is a white boat trailer with Ontario license plate E9085F attached.
