MISCHIEF TO VEHICLE (Batchewana First Nation, ON) – On Sunday evening, November 27 2011, a vehicle parked at the Bingo Hall on Gran St. had its drivers side window smashed and the vehicle entered.

(Batchewana First Nation, ON) – On Sunday evening, November 27 2011, a vehicle parked at the Bingo Hall on Gran St. had its drivers side window smashed and the vehicle entered.

OPP remind motorists that during the holiday season thieves will be looking to enter vehicles and take your valuables.

Always roll up your vehicle’s windows, lock the doors and pocket the key. Park your vehicle in a well-lit area. Never leave valuable objects or packages in full view.  Put them in the trunk.

Never leave your vehicle unattended while it is running.

 

ANIMAL COLLISION

(MACDONALD TWP., ON) -  OPP responded to a single motor vehicle collision involving a animal Sunday at  6:00 pm on Highway 17 east. The driver of the car was not injured. There was damage to the vehicle.

OPP remind motorists that not only do they have to be alert to changing road and weather conditions this time of year but also to wildlife crossing the roadways.
