Busy But Non-Eventful

The men and women of the Sault Ste Marie OPP detachment had a busy but non- eventful weekend of crime fighting.

Officers responded to a large number of complaints but luckily no one ended up “enjoying” the hospitality of our concrete lined holding cells or a Monday morning appearance in bail court.

Officers responded to calls ranging from out of control grass fires, landlord tenant disputes, noise complaints, child custody disagreements, through to 911 hang ups and alcohol fueled neighbour and family disputes. Once again it appears that through mediation and negotiation that most parties were content with the resolutions until they have an opportunity to visit their respective lawyers this morning.
