THEFT OF GAS RESULTS IN CHARGES (Blind River, ON.) –On Saturday March 29, 2010 at 6:00 p.m. East Algoma OPP were advised that a black Honda Civic with two males and a female had left the Shell gas station without paying for $44.00 of gas.
THEFT OF GAS RESULTS IN CHARGES

(Blind River, ON.) –On Saturday March 29, 2010 at 6:00 p.m. East Algoma OPP were advised that a black Honda Civic with two males and a female had left the Shell gas station without paying for $44.00 of gas. Officers on patrol observed the suspect vehicle on Highway 17 in the area of Mississauga First Nation. The vehicle was stopped just west on Blind River and the occupants were arrested for the theft. Charged with theft under $5000 are 22 year old Mathieu BOUDREAU of Bathurst New Brunswick and19 year old Nicholas HACHE of Barrosford New Brunswick. Both males are scheduled to appear in Provincial Court on June 3, 2010. The female passenger was not charged and released.

SINGLE MOTOR VEHICLE COLLISION

PASSENGER ARRESTED ON WARRANTS

(Herrick Twp., ON) – At 6:53 am on Sunday, 28 March 2010 Sault Ste. Marie OPP along with the Batchewana First Response were dispatched to a single motor vehicle rollover on Highway 17 in Herrick Township.

There were no injuries to the driver or two passengers.

The 2003 Kia vehicle had to be towed.

The driver, 17 year old Kimberly Robinson of Pilgrim St. in Sault Ste. Marie was charged under the Highway Traffic Act with Driving a Motor Vehicle without a Driver’s Licence, and Failing to Drive in Marked Lane.

One of the passengers, 22 year old Tyler Joseph Kennedy of Varsity Ave. in Sault Ste. Marie was wanted by the Sault Ste. Marie Police Service for three outstanding Breach of Probation charges.

Kennedy was arrested and is being held for a bail hearing today.
