SEVERAL CHARGES LAID IN DOMESTIC RELATED DISPUTE : (FISHER TOWNSHIP, ON) – A 35 year old female was arrested and charged after an incident involving her ex-common law spouse on Sunday, January 8, 2012 at approximately 1:30 am.

SEVERAL CHARGES LAID IN DOMESTIC RELATED DISPUTE:

(FISHER TOWNSHIP, ON) – A 35 year old female was arrested and charged after an incident involving her ex-common law spouse on Sunday, January 8, 2012 at approximately 1:30 am.

It is alleged that the accused attended the residence of her ex-common law spouse and smashed a window and door of the residence with an axe and proceeded to smash two vehicles located at the residence with the axe.

The accused was located a short time later by OPP and arrested and charged with four counts of Mischief under $5000 and one count of Possession of Weapon dangerous to Public Peace.

The accused was held in custody and is to appear in Provincial Bail Court in Sault Ste. Marie, Ontario today.

DRIVER CHARGED FOR THEFT OF GAS:

(FENWICK TOWNSHIP, ON) – On Sunday, January 8, 2012 at 12:30 pm OPP were advised of a theft of approximately $235 worth of gas from Goulais River General Store.

A description of the driver and vehicle were given to OPP.

A short time later the vehicle was stopped.

Arrested and charged with Theft Under $5000 is 23 year old James Trevor Matthews of 552 Highway Vankoughnet Township.

Matthews was released on an undertaking for court.
