Charged with Impaired (Elliot Lake, Ont.) On August 18, 2007 at approximately 8:50 p.m. while on general patrols, police stopped a vehicle on Hirshhorn Avenue. Charged with Impaired Operation and Over 80 is Deanne MacDONALD (38) of Elliot Lake.

Charged with Impaired Operation and Over 80 is Deanne MacDONALD (38) of Elliot Lake. MacDONALD is scheduled to appear in court on October 10th, 2007.

(Elliot Lake, Ont.) A NOKIA cell phone found under bleachers at Burley Park in Elliot Lake on August 13th, 2007 has been turned into police as found property.

DRINKING AND DRIVING LEADS TO CHARGE

(Thessalon, Ontario) On Saturday August 18, 2007 at approximately 2:53 am, members of the East Algoma Thessalon Detachment were on patrol in the Town of Thessalon. A motor vehicle was observed traveling on Francis Street with only one headlight. The motor vehicle was stopped to advise the driver of this.

Charged with driving with “Over 80 mgs of Alcohol” under the Criminal Code of Canada, is Sheri Lynn RICHARD (35) of Thessalon First Nation.

RICHARD is scheduled to appear in Thessalon Court on September 27, 2007 to answer to the charge.


TWO MORE BREAK AND ENTERS REPORTED

(Thessalon, Ontario) On Saturday August 18, 2007 at approximately 8:00 a.m. the East Algoma Thessalon Detachment received a report of a break and enter to the Livingston Creek Golf Course located on Highway 17, east of Thessalon, Ontario.

Alcohol and candy was taken in the break and enter.

(Desbarats, Ontario) On Saturday August 18, 2007 at approximately 8:30 a.m. the East Algoma Thessalon Detachment received a report of a break and enter to Northern Quality Meats located east of Desbarats, Ontario.

Approximately $1000 worth of meat was stolen in this break and enter.
