ASSAULT X2 AND MORE…

(Blind River, Ont.) On August 17, 2008 police received a call to attend a residence regarding a complaint. On scene police learned that a male visitor had assaulted another male while at a residence on Village Road on August 16th, 2008. Officers located the suspect and he was arrested.

Charged with the following is Ryan Ross CHIBLOW (22) of Blind River.

Assault X2
Breach of Probation X2

CHIBLOW is scheduled to appear in Blind River court on October 9, 2008.

THREE CHARGED

(Elliot Lake, Ont.) As a result of a drug investigation on Hirshhorn Avenue in Elliot Lake police have charged the following:

One (1) 16-year-old male and two (2) 17-year-old males with Trafficking – Cannabis Marihuana under 3 kilograms.

The names of the youths are not being released under the Youth Criminal Justice Act.

All above mentioned youths are scheduled to appear in Elliot Lake Youth court on September 2, 2008.

YET ANOTHER MISCHIEF TO A VEHICLE…

(Elliot Lake, Ont.) Police are currently investigating yet another mischief to a vehicle. Investigation reveals that sometime between Thursday, August 14, 2008 at 10:00 p.m. and Friday, August 15, 2008 at 8:00 a.m. person(s) unknown threw a rock at a vehicle striking a side window on the van causing it to shatter. At the time of the mischief the vehicle was parked in a parking lot at 24 Hirshhorn Avenue in Elliot Lake.
