REFUSING TO LEAVE NETS CHARGES FOR LOCAL FEMALE

(Elliot Lake, Ontario) –   The OPP charged a local female after receiving a call of a possible disturbance at a local manor.

April 13th, 2013 at 11:42 a.m. police responded to a call regarding a party refusing to leave the premises after being asked by staff.  On scene police learned that the suspect was visiting someone and allegedly started to cause problems.  The person was asked to leave and did not.

Officers spoke with the suspect with negative results.

Charged with the following is Angela Katherine HOLMES (47) of Elliot Lake.

  •             Cause a Disturbance
  •             Mischief Under $5,000.

The accused is schedule to appear in Elliot Lake court on June 4, 2013.

OBSTRUCT POLICE CHARGES

(Elliot Lake, Ontario) – Saturday, April 13, 2013 at approximately 2:39 a.m. police received a call to attend the area of Taylor Boulevard in Elliot Lake regarding a young male knocking on doors.

Police attended the area and located the male.  The suspect showed signs of intoxication and police attempted to ascertain whom or what the suspect was looking for.  The accused allegedly became belligerent with police and uncooperative.

Charged with the following is a 17-year-old male.

  •             Obstruct Police (X2)
  •             Fail to Comply with Undertaking (x2)          

The accused remains in custody awaiting a bail hearing.
