TRAFFIC STOP NETS $7,100.00 IN MARIHUANA

(Elliot Lake, Ontario) – September 1, 2011 at approximately 2:43 p.m., members of the East Algoma OPP Crime Unit in partnership with the O.P.P. Organized Crime Enforcement Unit Sault Ste Marie conducted a traffic stop of highway 108.

Through investigation, police located 354.6 grams of cannabis marihuana a value of $7,100.00.

Charged with the following is Marie Jeannine Lucie TREMBLAY (52) of Elliot Lake:

Possession for the purpose of Trafficking

The accused is scheduled to appear in Elliot Lake court November 2, 2011.
