BROKEN WINDOW

(Elliot Lake, Ontario) On October 26, 2008 at 12:47 a.m. police received a call regarding a broken window.

On scene police learned that sometime between 12:00 a.m. and 12:45 a.m. unknown person or persons broke the front picture window of a residence on Ferguson Road.

Investigation continuing.

THEFT OF VEHICLE

(Elliot Lake, Ontario) On October 27th, 2008 police were called to attend a business on Kilborn Way regarding a possible stolen vehicle.

Police attended the business and were advised that a 2000 Green Ford F150 Pick Up Truck bearing Ontario marker 2636MN was stolen. The truck went missing sometime between October 25, 2008 at 12:00 a.m. and 8:00 a.m.

TWO ARRESTED

(Elliot Lake, Ontario) On October 26, 2008 at approximately 11:15 a.m. police received a call to attend College Place in Elliot Lake regarding a possible a theft.

On scene police learned that the complainants had observed two males youths breaking into vehicles. Police attended and arrested the suspects.

Charged with Theft Under $5,000.00 is a 12-year-old male. He is scheduled to appear in Elliot Lake court on December 1st, 2008. Also charged with the following is a 16-year-old male.

Possession of Property Obtained by Crime
Possession of Cannabis – under 1 gram

He is also scheduled to appear in court on December 1st, 2008.

The names of the charged youths will not be released under the jurisdiction of the Youth Criminal Justice Act.

SHOPLIFTING IS A CRIME

(Elliot Lake, Ontario) The East Algoma OPP has arrested and charged a female with theft under.

On October 28, 2008 at approximately 11:35 police received a call to attend a local grocery store regarding a shoplifter. On scene learned that the suspect had allegedly stolen a pack of donuts.

Charged with Theft Under is Angela CROUTER (23) of Elliot Lake. CROUTER is scheduled to appear in Elliot Lake court on December 4, 2008.
