CHILD PORNOGRAPHY SEISURE AND ARREST
(Elliot Lake, Ont.) - Members of the Ontario Provincial Police Child Pornography Section ("Project P",) and members of the Elliot Lake Police Service have charged a 38-year-old man following a child pornography investigation.

On Oct. 10, 2001, a search warrant was executed at a residence on Willoughby Road in Elliot Lake. Officers seized one computer, computer peripherals, floppy diskettes, and other articles pertinent to the investigation. Computerized graphic image files, believed to be child pornography, were found on the computer as well as external storage devices.

Charged with one count of possession of child pornography is Jamie Alan Baggs of Willoughby Road. He is scheduled to appear in Ontario Provincial Court, Elliot Lake, on Dec. 4, 2001.

Investigation is continuing.
