Cattle Truck Roll Over

(Wawa, Ontario) Superior East OPP, Wawa are investigating a motor vehicle collision involving a cattle truck on Highway 17 about 25 kilometers South of Wawa.
At 2:10pm today, a southbound cattle truck loaded with 132 head of cattle, overturned at Old Woman Bay. The highway was dry and visibility good at the time.
It’s unknown how many animals will need to be put down. Clean up will last into the morning hours. The Sault Humane Society (SPCA) will be attending the scene to assist.
The driver, 49 year old Ronald Grosenick of Moose Jaw, Sask was taken to Lady Dunn Hospital in Wawa with non-life threatening injuries. There were no other vehicles involved in the collision.
The driver was charged was Careless Driving.
