(Goulais River, Ont.) OPP were called to Witry Road in Goulais River yesterday after two trailer homes were found to be forcibly entered.

Yesterday afternoon the caretaker of the property arrived to find the doors on the two structures had been forced open. The caretaker believes the break in happened sometime over the past week. So far a quantity of clothing and a pump action shot gun are the only items reported missing.

SINGLE VEHICLE CRASH TAKES OUT GUIDE POSTS

(Goulais River, Ont.) A Sault Ste Marie woman received minor injuries after her pick up truck went off the road and into guide posts yesterday.

At about 3:30 yesterday afternoon the pick up was traveling north on Hwy 17 near Karalash Road. The driver became distracted by something in the truck and she drove off the roadway into the guide posts. She suffered minor injuries but did not need an ambulance.

Sixty four (64) year old Frances DEW, of 143 Great Northern Road in Sault Ste Marie, has been charged with Fail To Drive In Marked Lane contrary to the Highway Traffic Act of Ontario.
