CHARGES LAID IN HEYDEN ARSON

A Sault Ste Marie man will appear in bail court this afternoon after being arrested for an arson that occurred on Sept 29 2001 in Heyden just north of Sault Ste Marie.
On 29 Sept 2001 the Aweres Township Fire department arrived at the scene of a house fire on Olson Drive in Heyden. The fire department noticed that there was some suspicious circumstances surrounding the fire and called the OPP and the Fire Marshall's Office.
The home was extensively damaged and the owners had no insurance on the house.
An investigation the Sault Ste Marie OPP Crime Unit and the Sault Ste Marie City Police has resulted in the arrest and charges against a Sault Ste Marie man.
Forty five year old Timothy Jones, of Sault Ste Marie was arrested last night and charged with Arson, Break and Enter, and Breach of Probation.
