POLICE LOOKING FOR THE PUBLIC’S HELP LOCATING MISSING ECHO BAY MAN

Echo Bay, Ont.,

Sault Ste Marie OPP are asking the public’s assistance in locating an Echo Bay man who has been missing since late October.

On Tuesday 07 November 2006 forty six year old Frank HILSON, of Echo Bay, was reported as missing by one of his relatives. The investigation has revealed that he was last seen at a Garden River home on Monday 30 October 2006. The occupant of the house advised police that Mr. Hilson was staying at the house for a couple of days prior to his disappearance. When the occupant of the house returned home on October 30, 2006, Mr. Hilson was gone along with all his clothing.

The family advises that Frank Hilson has additional relatives in southern Ontario and that he may have tried to hitchhike to that part of the province to see them. Police contacted family members in that part of the province and so far no family member in that part of the province has seen or heard from Mr. Hilson since Labour Day Weekend.

Frank Hilson is described as 168 cm (5ft 6in) and weighs about 59 kgs (130 lbs) has a mustache and wears glasses. He has long straight black hair that is parted in the middle. He has several tattoos on his arms, shoulders, fingers and chest. He was last seen wearing blue jeans, a dark tee shirt and grey running shoes. If anyone knows the whereabouts of Mr. Hilson, please call the OPP or the closest police department.

Well it was another day of neighbour disputes, trespassing and traffic complaints, false alarms, and suspicious vehicle reports. It’s not exactly calls for service that the FOX Television network looks for when they are making their reality television shows, but it they are the types of calls that we attend to every day.

A review of these calls indicates that none of these occurrences had any unusual twists, turns or circumstances that may appear to be worthy of mentioning for media purposes.
