Just The Usual

Sault Ste Marie OPP are reporting a quiet 24 hours of policing within our Detachment area.

Officers were called to six traffic complaints on area highways. Officers also responded to family disputes, noise complaints, unwanted partygoers.

At about 10: 30 p.m. last night police were called to the lower end of Frontenac Street near the Batchewana First Nation and Sault Ste Marie boundary. A driver traveling that street came upon a moose that appeared to be running up and down the roadway. Officers patrolled the area but the moose was gone.
