DID YOU FIND A MONSTER STOVE ON THE SIDE OF THE ROAD???

Searchmont, Ont., Sault Ste Marie OPP are asking for the public’s assistance in recovering a large stove that fell off a truck in the Searchmont area.

Sometime last night the owners of the stove were traveling in the area of Hwy 556 and Hwy 532 in the Searchmont area. A new stove, still in the crate, fell off the back of the truck somewhere in the area of Hwy 556 and Hwy 532.

The stove is stainless steel, about 60 inches high, 24 inches wide and 30 inches deep. The stove weighs about 325 pounds. Since it is new and was still in it’s shipping crate, anyone who found the stove should realize that it does belong to someone else.

One anonymous call to the OPP at 1-888-310-1122 or to Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS (8477) is all that is needed to get the stove back to it’s rightful owner. At this time the owner of the stove just wants the stove back. The stove cost well over $1000.00 to purchase and has never been used.

If you see anyone lugging a new, but slightly damaged, stainless steel stove into their house or camp...chances are that is the one we are looking for. Call and we will arrange a reunion of the stove with its rightful owner.
