MISCHIEF AND THEFTS In the past twenty-four hours, Sault O.P.P. and Anishnabek First Nation Police have responded to seven theft from vehicle complaints and a rash of bike thefts in the Echo Bay and Garden River areas.

In the past twenty-four hours, Sault O.P.P. and Anishnabek First Nation Police have responded to seven theft from vehicle complaints and a rash of bike thefts in the Echo Bay and Garden River areas.

In yesterday's early morning hours, numerous unlocked vehicles were entered and a variety of items stolen. You are reminded to lock your vehicles at all times. If you have information concerning these thefts, you are asked to call the Sault O.P.P. at 1-888-310-1122.


FIRE
Anishnabek First Nation Police responded yesterday to a brush fire on the Jardine Mine Road in Garden River. Garden River Fire personnel and the Ministry of Natural Resources were also on the scene. The blaze, believed to be caused by lightning, was extinguished.
