STOLEN VEHICLE RECOVERED
Heyden, Ont.
Yesterday, Sault Ste. Marie O.P.P. responded to information about an abandoned motor vehicle on highway #556 in the Heyden area. The vehicle, a blue Dodge Dakota was located and checks revealed that it had been stolen in Kapuskasing. TRUCK ACCIDENT
Laird Twp.
Yesterday, Sault O.P.P. responded to a report of a motor vehicle accident on Highway 17. The investigation revealed that an eastbound tractor-trailer left the highway and entered the medium between the four lanes. There were no injuries. The Ministry of the Environment was contacted regarding a minor fuel leak. The accident is still under investigation.
