MOTORCYCLE OPERATOR STUNT DRIVING (WAWA, ON.) – On July 22, 2010 at 7:10 pm Superior East OPP in Wawa were patrolling southbound on Highway 17 in Menzies Twp approximately 35 kilometres north of Wawa.

(WAWA, ON.) – On July 22, 2010 at 7:10 pm Superior East OPP in Wawa were patrolling southbound on Highway 17 in Menzies Twp approximately 35 kilometres north of Wawa. The officer noted a northbound motorcycle approaching at a high rate of speed and was subsequently locked in on RADAR at 191 kilometres per hour in a posted 90 kilometre zone. The motorcycle was pulled over and the male driver, Kelly FLOOD age 38 of OAKVILLE, Ontario was issued a Summons for Racing a Motor Vehicle contrary to the Ontario Highway Traffic Act. His motorcycle and drivers licence was also seized for 7 days. He will appear in Traffic Court in Wawa on September 16, 2010 to answer to the charge.

SINGLE VEHICLE COLLISION HIGHWAY 101

(WAWA, ON.) – On July 21, 2010 Superior East OPP responded to a single vehicle roll-over on Highway 101 approximately 1 kilometre east of Highway 547. A westbound vehicle had lost control on a curve and rolled into a steep incline. The 2002 BMW was severely damaged but fortunately the two male occupants from CALGARY, Alberta received only minor injuries. The driver, Cristian ORDONEZ-NAVARRO age 21 and passenger, Jose ORDONEZ-NAVARRO age 23 were treated at Lady Dunn Health Centre and released. No charges have been laid as a result of this collision.
