The Sault O.P.P. is investigating a vehicle collision that occurred on Highway 552 West in Goulais River at 7:30 p.m. yesterday. Police say 15-year-old Ryan Guitard of Goulais River was travelling westbound on #552 on a snowmobile when he collided with a trailer attached to a parked vehicle.

Guitard, who suffered minor injuries, was alone on the snowmobile. He was taken to the Sault Area Hospital where he was examined and released. The snowmobile sustained major damage. Alcohol was not a factor and the investigation is continuing.
