YOU KNOW YOU'RE GOING TO HAVE A BAD DAY WHEN...
Garden River First Nation, Ont.

Sault Ste Marie OPP and the Anishinabek First Nation Police were called to a Garden River business yesterday morning after a car that was on fire pulled into the parking lot.

At about 9:00 a.m., a vehicle was traveling west on Hwy 17 through Garden River. The driver noticed smoke coming from the engine compartment and immediately pulled off the highway and into the business.

The employees were able to put out the fire that had originated in the engine compartment. The car was not destroyed but it could not be driven away. This cause of the fire is not believed to be suspicious in nature.
