Search warrant results in drug charges
ELLIOT LAKE - On December 2, 2014, the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Organized Crime Enforcement Bureau (OCEB), Sudbury Drug Unit supported by OPP East Algoma Detachment, executed a search warrant at a residence in Elliot Lake.
As a result of this investigation, 253 grams of marijuana was seized along with a quantity of cash. Adam DANIELS, age 51 of Elliot Lake is charged with Possession of a Controlled Substance for the Purposes of Trafficking as per the Controlled Drug and Substance Act and with Possession of Property Obtained by Crime as per the Criminal Code.
He was released from custody on a Promise to Appear at the Ontario Court of Justice in Elliot Lake on February 3, 2015.
