Don’t Drink and Drive

(Spanish, Ont.) On the 21st of August 2008 at approximately 10:20 p.m. the East Algoma OPP were in the town of Spanish when information was received that a driver of a motor vehicle may have been drinking. The driver was arrested and charged.

Charged with Over 80 is Krysta SAWYER (21) of Spanish. SAWYER is scheduled to appear in Blind River court on November 6th, 2008.

SHOPLIFTING IS A CRIME

(Elliot Lake, Ont.) August 21st, 2008 at approximately 7:54 p.m. an officer on general patrol was advised of a possible theft.

The suspect was located and the officer learned that the accused had allegedly taken items from a pharmacy.

The accused was arrested and charged.

Charged with Theft Under is Alain GOSSELIN (32) of Elliot Lake. GOSSELIN is scheduled to appear in Elliot Lake court on October 7th, 2008.
