WEAPONS OFFENCES (WHITE RIVER) – On April 2, 2009 at 3:05 am White River OPP received a report from two youths that two males had driven by in a vehicle and had shot at them with a BB gun as they were walking along the street.

(WHITE RIVER) – On April 2, 2009 at 3:05 am White River OPP received a report from two youths that two males had driven by in a vehicle and had shot at them with a BB gun as they were walking along the street. At least one of the suspects was known to the complainants and it was reported that a similar incident had occurred before. As a result of further investigation two male adults were located and charged as follows under the Criminal Code of Canada;
Henry DESCHAMP, age 28 of White River stands charged with “Assault With a Weapon” x2; and” Point Firearm” x2.
Morgan KUEHL, age 19 of White River stands charged with one count each of “Assault With a Weapon” and “Point Firearm”.
Both subjects are scheduled to appear in Wawa Criminal court on June 8, 2009.

THEFT OF SKIDDER PARTS

(WAWA) – On April 1, 2009 a skidder operator working in the Agawa Bay/Frater area reported that sometime between January 31 and March 31, 2009 Person(s) unknown removed gears, bearings and axles from his “Clark” F67 Skidder. The theft occurred on Frater Road at Highway 17. The value of the stolen parts is estimated at $20,000.00. The parts are believed to be compatible with all “Clark”, “Timber Jack” and “Tree Farmer” Skidders. The OPP is requesting the public’s help in solving this crime. Anyone with any information is requested to call The OPP at 1-888-310-1122 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS (8477).
