SIX BREAK AND ENTERS IN GOULAIS RIVER

Goulais River, Ont.,

Sault Ste Marie OPP are continuing to investigate six break and enters on Goulais Mission Road in Goulais River.

Officers were called to the 1500 area of Goulais Mission Road after several seasonal homes and outbuildings were discovered entered yesterday. This happens to be the same area where police found two people and a van full of property at 3:00 a.m. yesterday morning.

So far the investigation has revealed that most of the property in the van matches property stolen from some of the homes. Some of the property owners live out of the country and police are attempting to contact the property owners or the caretakers of the property.

One of the larger items stolen is still outstanding. Police are looking for a 2005 Artic Cat 4x4 All Terrain Vehicle. It is believed that the ATV may have been used or is still being used in the Havilland Shores Drive and/or Goulais Mission Road area of Goulais River.

If you saw anyone riding a 2005 Artic Cat ATV, or you happen to see it parked in their front yard, and you know they could never afford such a toy, call the Sault Ste Marie OPP or Crime Stoppers. The OPP can be reached at 1-888-310-1122 and Crime Stoppers can be reached at 1-800-222-TIPS(8477)
