An Elliot Lake woman is facing charges of uttering threats after an incident last week.
Ontario Provincial Police were told a woman went to an apartment on Willoughby Road last Sunday, May 26, and threatened to physically harm a complainant and a friend.
They allege she also threatened to burn down the apartment building.
OPP arrested a suspect on Hillside Drive North Saturday.
Paulina Mews, 46, was charged with:
- Uttering Threats - cause death or bodily harm
- Uttering Threats - damage to property
None of the allegations have been tested in court and the accused is considered innocent unless proven guilty.
