Body found in Jocelyn Township

Officers with the Ontario Provincial Police are investigating a suspicious death after someone found a body in Jocelyn Township.

Yesterday at approximately 2:45 p.m., the East Algoma OPP responded to a report of a deceased person that was found near P Line Road in Jocelyn Township.

“The East Algoma OPP crime unit is continuing the investigation under the direction of the OPP Criminal Investigation Branch and in conjunction with the Office of the Chief Coroner and the Ontario Forensic Pathology Service,” an OPP release said.

“The investigation is on-going. Further information will be provided when it becomes available.”
