A Blind River man, 55, who was charged a historical sexual assault case, is facing further charges after allegedly contacting the victim.
OPP say that the accused was placed on conditions not to communicate with the victim when he was charged on July 29 with sexual interference, sexual assault on a person under 16 years of age, criminal harassment, and causing a disturbance.
On July 30, police say the male contacted the victim indirectly. The accused was then rearrested on Saturday and charged with fail to comply.
The accused appeared before the Ontario Court of Justice Video Bail in Blind River on Aug. 2, 2020 and was remanded into custody.
