Police investigating Vaughan shooting that killed one, injured another

AURORA, Ont. — York Regional Police have launched a homicide investigation after a shooting that left one person dead and another injured in Vaughan, Ont.

Police say they learned of the shooting when an injured male arrived at a Toronto hospital with gunshot wounds Sunday morning.

Police went to the scene of the shooting north of Toronto, in a building on Freshway Drive in Vaughan.

There, they found a second victim who had died on the scene.

Investigators are asking anyone who may have seen anything suspicious or been driving in the area at the time with a dashcam to contact them.
