Hamilton police investigating city's 10th homicide after stabbing attack

Hamilton police are looking for suspects in the city's 10th homicide of 2020 after a man was killed in a stabbing attack early Sunday.

The incident happened just before 2:00 a.m. outside a residence on Binbrook Road.

Police say officers responding to a disturbance call found a man suffering from stab wounds who later died in hospital.

The victim has been identified as 20-year-old Brock Beck.

Police say a 16-year-old also suffered minor injuries.

Investigators say they believe the suspects followed Beck's vehicle to the residence where they confronted him and his friend in the driveway.

Police say they don't yet know how many suspects were involved, or the motive for the attack, and the suspect vehicle is described only as a four-door sedan.

They are asking anyone who may have surveillance video taken in the area of 3063 Binbrook Road at the time of the incident to contact them.
