Peacefully at ARCH with his family by his side on Saturday June 21, 2014. Fred Woolley, formerly of Bruce Mines in his 92nd year, husband of the late Margaret Woolley for 69 years. Loving father of Carol Wilson (Harvey) of Desbarats, Sandra Irwin (Roy) of Rock Lake, Brian Woolley (Rhonda) of Bruce Station and the late James Charles Woolley. Special Grandpa to Scott, Sherri, Todd, Tim, Theresa, Kayla and Kendall and 10 great grandchildren. Dear son of the late Walter and Henrietta Woolley and son in-law of the late Laura and Stanley Robinson. Dear brother of the late Edward, Bruce and Arthur. Dear brother-in law of Jan and Noreen Woolley, Lloyd Robinson (late Pat), Vivian Woolley and the late Inis Blackstock (late Alvin), Joy McPhee (late Danny) and Frances Woolley. Also survived by numerous nieces and nephews. Fred served in the army during the Second World War. He had a tremendous love of horses, gardening and family. He will be remembered as a compassionate and loving individual who will be missed by all. Friends may call at the Bruce Mines United Church on Tuesday June 24, 2014 from 11am until time of service at 1pm. Interment in Cloudslee Cemetery.
