I know your looking down on us, now I see that god has won and I know your time is done.  As he guides you to the light, we hurt inside to say goodnight. The seeds you left, the seeds we’ll sow, our sorrow weeps. I hope u know.  We look our eyes upon the skies, and ask dear god oh why? Soon our pain will turn to past and all our memories will guild our way. Your touch so cold, your eyes so bare. You feel so far but yet so near. The sunshine’s bright, but skies so grey, come hold our hand it’ll be ok.  My selfish mind wants you to stay but deep inside I know your on your way. Your better now it’s hard to see, don’t understand why can’t it be me?  I’d take your pain to set you free. Your life of love can go so far.  Two worlds apart, let’s let you be. It’s come so fast please stay with me. Your life was short, you lived it well.  Behind your smile you hid your heart of being unwell.  But yes I see a piece of you left to me. My eyes do blue, my smile so bright that’s all from you, it’ll be alright.  Love you dad, till we meet again. It won’t be long, always my friend. It is goodbye for now but not for long, we’ll see you soon let’s be strong. Go be with grandma, she’s whispering your name.  She loves you dad relieve your pain.
