Passed away peacefully with family by her side at the F.J. Davey Home on Wednesday, April 7, 2004 at the age of 90. Beloved wife of the late George Willis and the late Reg Cruickshank. Loving mother of Jim Cruickshank (Betty), Eunice McEwen (Ross). Dear grandmother of Jamie (Lori), Steven (Shona), Brian (Jennifer) Cruickshank and Brenda Gagnon, Donald McEwen (Toni) and ten great grandchildren. Dear sister of Bill MacKay (Mearl), Gladys Gordon (late Jack), Ethel Rathwell (late Billy), Vera MacKay. Sadie is predeceased by her brothers Ronald, Ralph (late Edna), Jim (Sophie) and sisters Isabelle Junor (late William), Edna Fraser (late George) and Sylvia Grexton (late Vern). Survived by many nieces and nephews. Friends may call at the Barton and Kiteley Funeral Home and Cremation Centre on Thursday, April 8 2004 from 7-9 pm. Funeral service in the chapel on Friday, April 9, 2004 at 2 pm. Mr. Bruce Cain officiating. Interment at a later date. Memorial contributions to the Parkinson Foundation, SAH Cancer Clinic or contributions toward a diabetic pump for Sadie’s great grandson would be appreciated by the family.
