It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of William (Bill) Eagle suddenly but peacefully at the General Hospital on Tuesday, February 12, 2002 surrounded by his family, in his 89th year. Beloved husband of 56 years to Toots (Martha). Much loved Dad of Mari Nichols (Frank) and adored Papa of Frankie and Jeff Nichols of Sault Ste. Marie. Brother of the late Kit (Erma) Eagle and Mame Falconer. Brother-in-law of: Alex Russell of Gulf Port, Florida and the late Jim and Kaye Russell and Fran and Bob Russell. Treasured Godfather of Debbie Allen-Robert. Uncle of several nieces and nephews. Friends may call at the Northwood Funeral Home (942 Great Northern Road 945-7758) on Thursday, Feb. 14, 2002 from 11 a.m. until 1 p.m. Funeral and committal service will follow at 1:30 p.m. at Holy Trinity Anglican Church (corner of Great Northern Road & Northern Ave.) with Reverend Robert Elkin officiating.
