Peacefully at home after a courageous battle with cancer on Saturday, November 27, 2021 at the age of 59 with family at her side.  Loving wife of Danni for 41 years.  Beloved mother of Mark (Stephanie), Kyle (Jessica) and Danielle.  Cherished daughter of Phyllis and the late Francis (Bucky) Bourdages.  Dear sister of Richard (Joan), Susan Michaud (Steven), Linda Evans (late Murray), the late John (late Willy), Sandra Calic (Mike) and Glenn "Bucky" (Alba).  Daughter-in-law of the late Ivy and Thomas Wilding.  Vicky will be fondly remembered by many nieces, nephews and cousins.  She will also be missed by the dice ladies, her  Greyhound game friends as well as dear friends made along the way .

Vicky touched the lives of others with her bright, happy personality and contagious laugh.  She was home proud - always caring for her flowers and lawn, creating many beautiful craft items to decorate and celebrate the seasons.  Vicky will be remembered for her love of spending time with family and friends, reminiscing, sharing delicious family dinners and BBQs.

While Vicky battled cancer, she always remained positive and never focused on her own pain.  She was so upbeat at chemo treatments.  If she saw someone sad or crying through chemo, she would say "what's going on here? Don't be sad. God made us wake up today so smile and let's talk."  She would talk with them until they felt better.  They called her the chemo poster child.  They all loved her.  She made a terrible day of lemons into lemonade for so many.

Special thank you to Dr. Karen Booth, the nurses from Bayshore Marnie, Kim, Nina and Stephanie for going above and beyond with their exceptional care.  Thank you also to Dr. Silvana Spadafora, Debbie Collins-Maskell, Louise, Shawna, Shelley, John, Lisa and the rest of the cancer clinic staff and volunteers”.
