Passed away at Sault Area hospital on February 24, 2022 at the age of 73. Loving mother of Lori-Ann (Mario), Anna-Lee (Dan) and Karl (Marlee). Adoring grandmother of Tessa, Ava, Noah, A.J., Nikki, Bates, Kacey and Lincoln. Daughter of the late Clara (Lou) and Michael. Sister of late Geraldine, late Mike, late Pat, late Dorothy, Noel, Darlene, Wayne, Maxine, Brenda, late Melvin, Reggie, and Roy. She will be missed by her foster sister, Marlene Antoniow (Dave) and her family, her foster family, late Patricia & late Gordon Russell, Allan (late Peggy), Judy (John), Jane, Peter (Denise), late Derek (Jan) and late David (Mary) as well as many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Frances was a loving mother and grandmother to her 8 grandchildren. She loved to volunteer and was a foster mom for 10 years. She enjoyed walks, camping and was artistic. She loved to paint and participate in her crafting class. She was an active member within her church community as well. Frances loved to laugh and enjoyed her dinner nights with her ladies. She was an amazing hairdresser for 57 years. It wasn't a job to her, it was fun and social and she loved her clients that turned into life long friendships.
A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date. The family would like to thank the doctors and nurses from the Emergency and ICU departments for the excellent care given to our mom.
