It is with broken hearts that we announce the passing of Joanne Weingartner on December 28, 2024, after a brief battle with cancer.
Born February 22, 1951 (73 years of age) Joanne is predeceased by daughter Rebecca (Rob Hucko) Weingartner. She is survived by her loving husband David Weingartner, and children Paul (Heather) Weingartner and Natalie (Charles) McCrea. Nana to five loving grandchildren who truly were the light of her life Sarah, Gabriel, Molly, Alistair, Olivia.
Sister to James “Jim” (Penny) Botti, Anita (Paul) Magid, Louanne (Dennis) McCormick, and Louis “Geno” (Cheryl) Botti. Aunt “JoJo” to many nieces and nephews. Joanne’s infectious laugh and love for socializing will be missed by all her many friends’, cousins, and family in Pittsburgh, Sault Ste Marie, Daytona Beach, Blind River, Thunder Bay and everywhere in between.
Thank you everyone at ARCH and her beloved friends from the Associates of the Sisters of St. Joseph who cared and prayed of her. The family would also like to extend a special thank you to those who sat lovingly with her during the past 6 months and her final days. She truly loved you all and hearing your voices provided her with comfort.
