September 23 1941 - January 22 2018 - With heavy hearts we announce that Charles Cecil Wannamaker in his 77th year has been reunited with his parents Joseph and Emily Wannamaker and his brother William and sister Viola in the arms of the Lord. He is survived by his best friend and soul mate of 28 years Deborah (nee Carroll). He also leaves behind his five children John Wannamaker (Wendy), Patrick Wannamaker, Randy Wannamaker, Billy Jo Wannamaker, and Ashley Wannamaker. Lifelong friend of Robert Burch (late Josephine Roseanne) and Wanda Ricouskie (Earle). He also leaves behind an extended family Lorraine Pelletier and her daughters Jacqueline and Catherine Schryer. Also survived by his four beautiful granddaughters, many nieces and nephews and his sister and brother-in-laws. He also leaves behind his sisters and brothers Jesse Ross, Late Henry (Barbara), Violet Burch (Austin), Shirley Lacoursiere (Late Maurice), Robert Wannamaker (Trudy). A special thanks goes out to Jessica Jancke and Marney Hunter and the nursing staff at Bayshore. We would also like to thank Dr. Taylor for her help and support along his journey. A very special thank you goes out to Reid, Aaron and staff in the Emergency department for making his last hours comfortable and joining him with his sense of humour right til the end. You guys made a heartbreaking situation a little easier to endure. In lieu of flowers donations can be entrusted to Debbie Wannamaker or Tracy’s Dream would be greatly appreciated.
