WALTON, Dora (nee Running)

Peacefully at the Sault Area Hospital with family by her side, on Saturday March 15, 2014 at the age of 94.  Beloved wife of the late Alex.  Dear mother of Jo-Ann Rhodes (Doug), Lloyd Walton (Brenda) and Brenda Ostaff  (Dennis).  Loved Grandmother of Debbie Jo Linklater (Jim), Susan Murray (late Michael), Doug Rhodes Jr., Jake Walton (partner Isla) and Kristen Barnicke (Michael).  Great Grandma of Paige Linklater (Stephen Novello), Matt and Dan Murray, Jarrett and Riley Jo Linklater, Olive Walton and Georgia, Alexandra and Adelaide Barnicke. Dora was the youngest of her siblings and is predeceased by her brothers Merle (late Marjorie Sharpe), Edwin “Chum” (late Kay), Arnold (late Helen) and her sister Melva Currier (late Alex).  Daughter of the late Daisy and Ervel Running.  Sister-in-law of the late; Cecil Walton (late Alice), Stewart Walton (late Frances), Rita Nelson (late Murray), Ralph Walton (late Muriel), Grace Switzer (late Jack), Ferne Pratt (late Bob), and Lloyd Walton.  She will be remembered by many nieces and nephews.   Friends may call at the Arthur Funeral Home and Cremation Centre on Thursday, March 20, 2014 from 11:30am – 1:30 pm.  Funeral service in the chapel at 2 pm.  Rev.
