Passed away peacefully at the Sault Area Hospital with his dear friend Tammy by his side on Thursday, December 8, 2022 at the age of 83.
John is now reunited with his parents Fraser and Amy Wade. Loving brother of the late Jimmy Wade (Faye), Billy Wade, and Nancy Wade. He will be deeply missed by his chosen family Denis Lambert (late Kim), Tammy Swire (Andre Turgeon) and their children and grandchildren Justin, Chelsea, Colby, James, Delanee, Paedon, Hadley, Alain "Al" Turgeon (Tania), Camille, Maxim, and Mireille. He will be fondly remembered by his friends Gaston Allaire (Denise), Marcel Lambert (Bea), late Frank Turgeon (Aline), and their families. John leaves behind his friend Reg from the ACR and many other extended family members.
Family and friends are invited to visit at the Arthur Funeral Home - Barton & Kiteley Chapel (492 Wellington St. East 705-759-2522) on Friday, December 16, 2022 from 10:00am - 11:30am. Funeral Mass to take place at St. Gergory's Catholic Church (71 Estelle St, Sault Ste. Marie) on Friday, December 16, 2022 at 12:00 pm with Rev. Trevor Scarfone officiating. John will be laid to rest at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. Memorial contributions to the SSM - Humane Society would be greatly appreciated.
