Loving wife of Ted Vince. Beloved mother of Deborah Irwin (Donnie Varcoe), Terri Phillips (Ed), Dennis Vince (Tambi) and Tammy Vince. Proud grandmother of Ashley Irwin (Ryan MacMillan), Jake Irwin (Raili Gilbertson), Emma Phillips (Coddy Grant), Devin Vince (Carly Johnston), Tanner Phillips, Dallas Vince (Lilly Barnes), Shelby Diotte, Talyn Vince (Dylan Clarke), Abby Phillips (Braydon Middaugh), Reid Vince and Colton Vince. Great grandmother of Eren, Sophia, Rowen, Harper and Letty.
Gerry was grateful to be able to stay in her home with the loving help and support of Ted, her husband of 61 years.
Gerry was a very creative and talented artist who loved to paint. Many of her paintings are hanging and treasured in the homes of her loved ones. Gerry could always be found at paint class on Wednesday afternoons. Gerry loved cooking and going to family get togethers. We could always count on Mom to show up to family gatherings with her laundry basket full of goodies. Anyone who knew Gerry, knew that she loved playing bingo and had developed many friendships over the years.
At Gerry's request, a private celebration of life will take place with her immediate family. Memorial contributions by cheque or online to ARCH Hospice or Sault Area Hospital Foundation would be greatly appreciated.
