VIGNA, Christina (née Dottor)

Died peacefully on August 20, 2017 in her 100th year in Sault Ste. Marie, Ontario. Burial took place at Greenwood Cemetery and a celebration of life will be held at a later date. Christina was predeceased by her husband, Victor, and siblings Jack, Victor, Maria Zoppi and Candida Bolzan. She was the loving mother of Victor (Joyce), Roxy (Daphne) and Roxine (Robert) Bisson; cherished grandmother of Lauri (Paul) Van Berkel, Mark (Paula), Jeff (Stacey), Erin (Julian) Vardy, Hélène (Carlo) Timpano and Christopher (Christine); great-grandmother of 11 great-grandchildren all living in southwestern Ontario. Christina will be remembered fondly by many nieces and nephews.  The family would like to extend special thanks to OFRA staff at Kotitalo and MKK for their excellent care over the years. In memoriam donations could be made to the Ontario Finnish Resthome Association which is initiating a campaign for a new long-term care building in Sault Ste. Marie.
