Passed away at his home on Saturday, November 9, 2019, with his wife of 63 years, Mary (nee Matheson) by his side. Loving father of Frank (Karen) of Edmonton, Alberta, late David & Terry both of Sault Ste. Marie and Mary-Ann (John) of Howell, Michigan. Cherished grandfather of Troy (Jessica) of Edmonton, Tysen (Christine) of Sault Ste. Marie and Brianna Brunk of Howell, Michigan. Frank was born 84 years ago in Son, Netherlands, to late Anthony and late Francisca (nee Gruyters). He will be dearly missed by his siblings Maria vandeMierden (late Tony), late Arnold (late Anita), late Anna Lee (Terry), Albert (Reta) and Anthony (Lynn). Frank will be fondly remembered by his many nieces, nephews, cousins and countless friends. He worked 36 years for Algoma Steel while also working as a handyman/carpenter. In his off time, he loved to canoe, camp, fish and hunt. Spending plenty of quality time with family and friends. He loved meeting new people and hearing their stories. Once he met you, you were considered a friend. He will forever be remembered for his stories and his sense of humour. Friends and family are invited to visit at Willowgrove United Church on Saturday, November 16, 2016 from 11:00 a.m. until time of the Memorial Service at 2:00 p.m. Reception to follow.
