Special daughter in law of the late Peter and Rhoda Van Midde. Sister-in-law of the late Marie Van Midde, late Paul Van Midde and the late Barbara and Don Nemeth. Loving Aunt to many nieces and nephews.

Deanna's grandchildren were the light of her life.  Many days were spent baking, cooking and dancing around the kitchen with them.  Deanna grew up spending most summers out at her family camp on Paquette Lake where many good times were shared and lots of great card hands were played with her siblings.  Deanna was always up for a party and enjoyed spending time with all of her loved ones.  She was well known by her nieces and nephews for her famous Miracle Whip chocolate cake.  Deanna always looked forward to spending time with her childhood friends at her weekly stitch and bitch club and she also dedicated many years as a member of the Victory Rebekah's Lodge as well as the Odd Fellows Lodge.  You would always find her working alongside her husband Gordon at the meat pie bakes.  Deanna had a penchant for travel whenever she had the opportunity and visited New Zealand to meet relatives and several trips to the UK and Europe.

The family would like to sincerely thank the Angels of the Lake Superior Unit at Extendicare Mapleview for the care that they provided in her final years, as well as the Physicians and Nurses at Sault Area Hospital that were involved in her circle of care over the last few months.  Special thanks to Dr. Meligrana for his support.  Due to COVID-19 a private family service will held. A Celebration of Life will be planned for a later date out at Paquette Lake. Memorial donations payable to or online to East Korah Maxwell United Church or the FJ Davey Home Adult Day Program would be appreciated.  Arrangements entrusted to O’Sullivan Funeral Home and Cremation Centre, 215 St. James St, 705-759-8456.
