(Feb. 13, 1972 - Dec. 22, 2021) - It is with deep sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Kirsty Helene Tschekalin, 49, of Sault Ste. Marie. She was the proud and devoted mother of the late Jayden Westerlaken. Beloved daughter of the late Lawrence and Helen Tschekalin. Beloved sister of the late Mike and Angie Tschekalin. Sister of John, Terry and Nicole, and Larry Tschekalin. Dear sister-in-law to Jacquie and nephew Michael Tschekalin, Frank (Susan) nephews Frankie (Bethany), Tyler (Rhiannon), and niece's Skye (Kris) and Cheyenne Carricato. Kristy will be greatly missed by many aunts, uncles and cousins. Kristy was a spiritual person and cherished family deeply. She will be greatly missed by her family and friends. Kristy will be cremated and there will be a private ceremony. Details regarding a celebration of life will be determined at a later date.
