Passed away suddenly at home on Sunday, August 2, 2020 at the age of 61. Much loved husband of Brenda Thompson (nee Desjardins). Beloved father of Crystal Thompson and beloved grandpa (aka daddy) of Bri-Anna. Son of the late William G.B. Thompson and Margaret E. Holmes. Son-in-law of the late Fred and Vera Desjardins. Brother of the late Betty Joyce (Peter) and the late Jane Kydd (late Douglas).Brother-in-law of Edna Ibbitson (Neil), Yvonne Shackleton (Ron), Elaine Boyer (late Mickey), Marilyn Rafter (Brendan), the late Charles Desjardins and the late Armond Desjardins (Linda). John will be missed by many nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, cousins and friends. At John's request no services will be held, cremation has taken place. Memorial contributions to the Soup Kitchen, Canadian Cancer Society, SAH Renal Dialysis Unit or the Diabetes Association would be appreciated by the family.
