Went home to be with the Lord on Thursday, June 9, 2005 at the
General Hospital in his 93rd year. Beloved husband of Jean for 64 years. Dear
father of Terry (Jennifer) and Victor. Grandfather of Jennifer (Todd Fry) and
Valerie (Kurt Ganness). Great grandfather of; Alex Fry, Nate Fry and Abigail
Ganness. Son of the late Stephen and Lena Thompson. Dear brother of; the late
Albert (Ida), the late Fred (late Winnifred), Percy (Anneke), the late Lloyd
(Louise), Hazel Wigney (late Clarence) and Beatrice Upper (Maurice). Friends may
call at the Northwood Funeral Home (942 Great Northern Road 945-7758) on Sunday
evening from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. Funeral service in the Chapel on Monday, June 13,
2005 at 11 a.m. with Pastor John Gunn officiating. Interment at West Korah
Cemetery. Memorial donations made to the Canadian Sunday School Mission, Parkland
Baptist Church or the Ontario Heart and Stroke would be appreciated by the family.
