(May 24, 1938-November 24, 2018) – Passed away peacefully at the Sault Area Hospital at the age of 80. Daughter of the late Maurice Thibeault and the late Jeanne de la Chevrotière. Loving mother of Johanne Guilbault (Pelham) and Denise Guilbault (Jean). Proud Mimi to Sean, Kyle, Cary and Sara Matthews and to Philippe, Maude and Camille Perreault. She leaves behind her dearest sister Pierrette, and her nieces and nephews. She will also be remembered by the Guilbault family. Three years ago, Jacqueline moved to Sault Ste. Marie. Although it took a little while for her to adjust to her new surroundings, “the Soo” became her home. She was surrounded by family and made new friends at Minds in Motion. That gathering became the highlight of her week.
Family and friends are invited to visit at La Maison Darche Services funéraires, in Longueuil, Québec, on Saturday, December 1st, from 5:15 pm to 6:00 p.m., in the chapel. A memorial service will follow. Most sincere thanks to Dr. Au-Yeung and Dr. Kargbo and the nursing staff of 3C, especially Jeremy, Elliot and Victoria for their caring support.
