It is with broken hearts that we announce the unexpected passing of Al on Tuesday, July 24, 2018 at the young age of 64. Beloved husband of Maria (nee Giommi) for 31 great years. Loving father of Melinda Thibault, Alan (Ashley), Raquel (Ron), Christopher (Courtney) and Andrew (Violet). Proudest papa of Dezirae, Darren, Natalie, Brynlee, Joseph and Remington. Son of the late Paul and the late Peggy Thibault. Dear brother of Mary James (Rick), Barbara Thibault (Bob), Paul Thibault (Anita), Margaret Matte (Luc) and the late Jo-Anne Whalen (Francis). Much loved son-in-law of Enrico and Lidia Giommi. Brother-in-law of Albert, Nadia (Kyle) and Terri-Lynn; Al will be remembered by numerous nieces and nephews. He will be greatly missed by his lunch buddies. A memorial visitation will be held on Monday, July 30, 2018 from 6 to 8 pm at Arthur Funeral Home – Barton & Kiteley Chapel (492 Wellington St. E, 705-759-2522). Memorial donation in memory of Al can be made to the Algoma Autism Foundation.
